JUST CHECKED FOR NEW MAIL AND SAW YOUR REQUEST FOR MY THEORY ABOUT THE SUN. WELL, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT ALL THIS EXCESSIVE WORLDWIDE PANIC IS ALL ABOUT. GLOBAL WARMING THEY CALL IT. IT IS ALL EXTREMELY SIMPLE IF ONLY SOMEONE WOULD TAKE A LOOK AT THE RECORDS OVER THE PAST 50 OR SO YEARS. I AM WRITING FROM MEMORY SO, MAY HAVE A FEW DATES WRONG BUT, IF YOU CAN RECALL THE SUNSPOT MAXIMUMS THAT I REMEMBER WERE IN 1979 1990, 2001. THE VERY HOT SUMMER*S I CAN RECALL WERE IN 1976, 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997, 2003. I DO REALISE THAT THE DATES ARE ALL APPROXIMATE, I DEFINITELY RECALL 1976, 1992 AND THIS YEAR.
IF YOU CHECK THE HOT SUMMERS AGAINST THE SUNSPOT MAXIMUM*S, YOU WILL FIND THAT THE HOT SUMMERS OCCUR APPROXIMATELY 2 OR 3 YEARS EITHER SIDE OF THE MAXIMUMS. IN OTHER WORDS WE CAN EXPECT A VERY HOT SUMMER 2 TO 3 YEARS BEFORE AND ANOTHER VERY HOT SUMMER 2 TO 3 YEARS AFTER A SUNSPOT PEAK. THE NEXT SUNSPOT PEAK IS DUE AROUND 2011 SO; I PREDICT THAT THERE WILL BE A HOT SUMMER IN 2008, 2009, AND ANOTHER IN 2013, 2014. THE SAME GOES FOR THIS HOLE IN THE OZONE LAYER. I THINK IF YOU COULD CHECK THE SIZE OF IT, YOU WOULD DISCOVER THAT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE AND THE SIZE VARIES DEPENDING ON HOW CLOSE WE ARE TO THE SUNSPOT MAXIMUM.
IF I REMEMBER THE SUNSPOT CYCLE WAS ONLY REALLY CONFIRMED TO BE AROUND 11 YEARS IN 1957. THAT HAPPENED TO BE A YEAR WHEN THE SUNSPOTS WERE AT THERE MAXIMUM. THE SAME YEAR THERE WAS THE FIRST REPORT OF THE WHOLE IN THE OZONE. YOU WILL ALSO NOTICE THAT THE PANIC ABOUT THIS OZONE WHOLE ALWAYS REACHES IT*S PEAK WHEN WE HAVE AN EXTREMELY HOT SUMMER. THE 2 ARE DEFINITELY RELATED TO THE SUNSPOT CYCLE AND IF I HAD ALL THE DATA FOR THE YEARS 1957 ONWARDS LISTING PEAK TEMPERATURE EACH SUMMER AGAINST SUNSPOT MAXIMUM EACH YEAR, AND, IF IT IS POSSIBLE, THE SIZE OF THIS OZONE WHOLE EACH SUMMER, I THINK IT COULD BE PROVED TO BE ALL RELATED TOGETHER. SORRY. I DO NOT HAVE THE FIGURES REQUIRED. CAN ONLY WORK FROM MEMORY.
YOU ARE GOOD A NUMBER CRUNCHING. SEE IF YOU CAN GET ALL THE FIGURES FROM SOME DATABASE SOMEWHERE AND PLOT ALL THE 3 CURVES AGAINST DATE AND THEN LAY ALL THE CURVES ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. MY BRAIN TELLS ME THERE IS A RELATIONSHIP THERE. YOU SHOULD FIND A HOT SUMMER EITHER SIDE OF A SUNSPOT MAXIMUM, POSSIBLY 2 EITHER SIDE. YOU SHOULD ALSO FIND THAT THIS HOLE IN THE OZONE GETS LARGER AND SMALLER DEPENDANT ON THE MAXIMUM SUMMER TEMPERATURE.

Comment:
There is this cyclic phenomena and Britain has been much warmer (as in Roman times) however there is an overall present trend of increasing temperature. As this continues the summer death rate from heat exhaustion will continue to rise, a process that will decimate the world population of all species including Man. We are likely to see a population crash soon all over the world. Since this will tend to reduce fossil fuel consumption it will be as if the world is healing itself of the almost cancerous growth of the human population.
Eventually exploitable carbon fuel will become depleted and carbon will no longer be deposited in the atmosphere. The world human population will not be able to support itself without the oil-based machines and the human population will crash through starvation and we will return to a prior simpler state.
Unless .. a new source of power is found. Like thermonuclear fusion.
If the temperature continues to increase the carbonate and methane trapped in the sea bed and in the sea will be released thus further increasing the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and the global temperature will further increase, increasing the death rate due to heat.
After 10,000 years with a decimated world human population the temperature will return to normal. This has happened some 60,000 years ago allegedly.
